Keynote Speakers!

Greetings all,


 We have finalized our keynote speakers for the conference! We are proud to present the two newest faculty members of the department, Jessica Coon and Luis Alonso-Ovalle. Dr. Coon completed her PhD at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and specializes in syntax, morphology and Mayan languages. Dr. Alonso-Ovalle has a joint appointment with the department of Hispanic Studies, specializing in Semantics and Pragmatics. He completed his PhD at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. We're excited to showcase our newest professors as they present their research!

We have extended the deadline for all abstract submissions until January 25th. As a reminder, all papers are submitted online at Linguistic List.

Call for Abstracts!

Hello everyone! Hope the end of the semester is going well for all. 


We are now calling for undergraduate students to submit abstracts for presentation at the conference on any subject matter within the domain of linguistics. Each abstract should detail material for a 20-minute presentation, with a 10-minute question period on issues raised afterward. Abstracts should be a maximum of one page in length (12 point font, 1 inch margins) and submitted online to http://linguistlist.org/ confcustom/McCCLU2012 by Friday, January 6th.
